as i have read the past 3pages and searched it seems im prolly the only one with this problem....
i go to update xp pro its already has sp1a.... there are 3 new update that i dont have one installes but shows up after i go back to update the other two get the "not windows xp logo tested" or some crap and it doesnt install.... i get the same message when i go to install DX9.0c anyone have any clues?

found the problem i disabled the cryptographic services... needs to be enabled for updates.... but then why doesnt Win2k have this? my moms maching has 2k and its not even listed in the services after all the updates...
