If you want to play your D3 right away then go with the cat 4.9beta..... if your lucky the full drivers will be out by the time you receive the card..... enjoy the 9800pro...:)

I love that message. "On FedEx vehicle for delivery". Enjoy your 9800 Pro! I sure have enjoyed mine.
Also, thanks for the tip in helping me decide which drivers I should download.

Omega drivers tweak your settings/system for best possible performance in games.
They're made for games and I would highly recommend them OVER stock catalysts.

Docta_Z: even for d3?

I would use the Cat 4.9 drivers until there are updated Omega drivers.
I just installed the 4.9 betas yesterday and do not see any problems as of yet.

The 4.9s locked my computer up instantly as soon as I started playing RTCW: ET or Farcry, so i'd wait for the official release. i'd recomend the Omegas based on the 4.6 catalysts until they do come out though...

I experience no problems with the Omega 4.7's in Doom 3...I strongly suggest the Omega drivers over the Catalysts as they have been tweaked for better image quality without sacrificing performance and they also tend to incorporate major fixes for games before ATI's first-party solution.
