so just wondering if u guys can provide any informations on which twinking software that has the most safty and good overclocking features.

Try NVmax or Powerstrip from here (http://speshalk.dyndns.org:1812/programs/).

Hi Genis,

sorry i don't think u'll get higher than that...
I have myself a Geforce3 Suma and i can't get past 215 for the core and 255 for the memory and that's with Nvmax and Riva tuner.
so i guess u should be happy with what u got :)

You don't??? I've seen GeForce3's capable of more than 550MHz RAM, (edit=) 220+ core.

I don't underatand your numbers, it doesnt make sense. The BASE memory speed for nVidia's reference model GeForce3 is 460. There is no card on the market that sets it's core or memory frequency LOWER then the default of nVidia.

So you must not have a GeForce3, but some other, lesser card.

ok its a misunderstanding...
i said 215/255
but for the memory it's ddr, so i meant 510 :)

215/510

510? men that's still way faster than my one, the max is 473!
anyway does powerstrip save the o/c so that the next time i start my comp, the o/c setting will stay the same or defult? because i really can't be staff changin it every time i turn on my comp.

The overclockability of Geforce 3's varies considerably. It's nothing to do with the software you use (I like River Tuner by the way). Just like cpu's, some cards overclock way better than others.
I had an Elsa that in standard trim would only do 220/515MHz, now I've got an Asus that does 250/590MHz standard, and with my watercooled peltier set-up it does 280/590MHz.

You had an Elsa GeForce 3 and now you have an Asus? Share the wealth, the rest of us who were lucky enough to get our hands on one GeForce 3 scrounged for the money...

Anyway, my Hercules hits 215/525 but anything after that I get some serious graphics errors in 3DMarks2001. The highest I've hit is around 6200, but that was with some major errors...looked like a really old movie does where dirt and dust speckles the screen. What 3DMarks2001 does everyone get with their clock speeds?

I think you shaould try NVmax Powerstrip or RivaTuner...
I'm using RivaTuner it's just great ( a easy way to do a nice stable and big overclock...) try it ;)

Good Luck

wata joke men.
