how do you know if you're getting single sided ram stick? is that what the 16x72 ,or 64x72, or whatever, is?(i never new what those figures meant). the reason i ask is that i heard you could use 4 sticks of unbuffered ram in the kg7 raid as long as it was "single sided". . .

I think you have to ask the place your buying from or post the specific memory and maybe someone here can tell you.
If the chips are on 1 side of the stick only its single if both double.

A single sided memory is seen by the coputer as occupying 1 memory bank and a double as 2 memory banks.

e-mither the people you want to buy it off and ask them if it is single sided
