9800 pro wont do stock speeds

I got a refurb sapphire 9800 pro 128mb from newegg. Current speeds using ATI tool are 378/338. I have ram sinks on and reseated the HS with arctic Silver 5. If I try to raise the core or the memory to Pro speeds, it gets massive artifacts. Core is r360 with samsung chips. Did I just get a bad card....will newegg take it back since it wont do 380/340?


BTW, chip is reading as r350, but its a r360....

nm, Im RMA'ing it since im getting major artifacts at stock speed.

i guess i m pretty lucky then. my sapphire 9800pro 128mb is from newegg refurb, and it's running fine after xt flash ;)

way to rub it in ;) It sucks that at 379/339 the 3d box on ati tool is completely indistiguishable.
