Yesterday (friday) the server went down and today I now have this in the electon microscope.
Protien type totals
bbalphaua (80%)4
bbalphavht(20%)1

And I am working on the vht one.
Will it automatically switch back to the ua one and finish or what?

No I don't think so placid I quit useing EM I just didn't like it all that much. I control mine with Taskmon in windows. Just set them up to run at a set time and shutdown after so many hours. Its all automated while I am at school.

Ok I think I am too new to this right now it shows I am 20% done with protein vht in one place but in another I just finished a "packet".
When I finish a packet after 3hrs it gets another one.
Is the credit for a packet or a protein?

Well you get credit after it sends a packet back to the server. Finishing 100 frames = 1 Work unit = so many points depending on how many steps were in the WU. Those BBalphas your working on are 5 a peice. I had one that was 10 a peice a few days ago or maybe I sent in two at a time I don't know. I'm all fuzzy upstairs right now.

The server is down again maybe I will start a 3rd protein when it comes back up.

Placid...what you see is exactly what it says. Protein Type totals. 80% + 20% =100%. As you fold different proteins, your individual protein percentage's will change but they will always add up to 100%.

How many different proteins are there 1-10 or no limit?

EM can only show 7 different proteins I think. A new protein type finds its way from time to time, and another one goes out. In the early days we had "villins" and such, very fast units but they only gave 1 credit. I think I've seen about 10-15 different units.

If EM is already showing you 7 different unit types, and another one comes out that it can't show the totalt of, just delete some of the".emd" files in the C:\Program Files\Folding@Home\em_data dir (or whereever you put it!)

It will then no longer show the unit count of your old units, but continue to count new units instead. Don't worry, you won't lose credit, EM is just a monitor. :)
