hey guys, im running my 2.4c at 3.3 with a 5:4 divider, so that leaves my ram oc'ed by 20mhz, with the timings at 2.5-7-3-3.
now i want to push my FSB a little further. Theoretically if i were able to push the FSB to 300, and use a 3:2 divider, that would leave the memory at stock speeds (pc3200). So far, i can only get the fsb up to 284, at a 3:2 divider, that leaves the RAM at 190mhz, 10mhz under stock.
Would messing with the timings give me a chance of getting the system higher, at least so i could run the memory at stock speeds at the 3:2 ratio? What other tweak would give me a chance of getting it faster? My ram is generic, but it seems to be performing at 'above-generic' levels already.
