virtual desktops program wanted!!

hi everyone... i was just wondering if there's a good virtual desktop (just like linux with the 4 desktops and the mini desktop screen on the bottom start menu bar). I know that there's Nvidia manager which has software, but it doesn't have the little mini windows on the start menu bar. I heard that windows longhorn is going to have that but i am not going to wait for another 2 years for it to come out. helppp!!!

www.litestep.net has various modules and themes with vwms. Including ones with mini windows/icons, and as many screens as you want

litestep = CONFUSING ..especially if u have dual monitors.

powertoys has a virtual desktops thing, but it dosen't do the mimi windows, it just has like 5 buttoms on the taskbar to change desktops: http://www.microsoft.com/windowsxp/downloads/powertoys/xppowertoys.mspx

then True Launch Bar has a virtual desktop thing and so dose tweak-xp pro, but i've never use either of the virtual desktops from these programs.

I see that you have a Radeon there. Try out Hydravision. I believe it has that function.

one called IBDesk, allows you to have upto 5 or 6 desktops, and u hit win + 1 , 2 ,3 ect to switch back n forth i liked it. and its free for 30 days.
