Support Question

Hey Guys, quick question.

The motherboard I currently have says it supports up to pc 2700. Seen here:

However, using the divider in bios I can get the memory settings up to 275 mhz fsb.

I was thinking of purchasing pc3200 memory or higher. Would the board be able to run it, even without officially supporting it?

my friend if u have an sr7/8x mb i doubt that the memory controller would work at 200 mhz (pc3200) if i understand u correctly u have a 2.0a (a 100 mhz) fsb. to even run the memory to its rated speed youd have to a 1/2 ratio. i suspect u are probably running the fsb and memory at 1-1. to ask that chipset and memory controller to overclock that hi is probably too much..
