Cant benchmark hard drives in SSS?

I can't benchmark my raptor or maxtor in SiSoft Sandra.. Task manager always says "not responding" whats the problem?

Sometimes you just have to wait a bit to allow the test to Complete.

I am running the drive test now and in task manager it says not responding.However if you wait like 3 to 5 minutes the test completes and it will tell you your score.....

OK thanks it worked after like 5 mins.. But why is my raptor 40mb/s and my maxtor 49mb/s

It could be how it is partitioned,or fragmented.Or even hoe SiSoft tests drives..

I defragmented using the windows defragmenter and NOW it says test file is too fragmented (31 fragments)

I'm having the same problem I got the message that it is too fragmented, so I defragment my drive, and I get the same error message. :( Anybody ever hear of this?

dido, got fragment error, defragged the hd and still same thing.

go to help and update wizard, dl the file and install. Then you can benchmark it.
