1. I am very considered about mobo support for the new Palamino. Given it's specs and the fact that it has an enternal core heat sensor built inot the chip which must be compatible with the mobo, and all it's other specs and requirments, just how many mobo's are really available for this chip?

2. What about it's overclockabilty? I understand it is a higher performer over the T-Bird and runs at a lower voltage and runs 20% cooler and all that jazz but is it able to be oc'ed? Is the multiplier locked. If it is, are there any companies yet selling it unlocked? Personally, I am not all that confident about my own ability to go modifying the chip? Mike

it should work with the newer Socket A mobos that support the 200/266mHz such as Abit-KG7, as far for the on-core heat sensor, I doubt it should be a trouble.
The Palominos are great o/v'ers and are probably the most o/c'ers of recent times, they have very high potential due to their reduced temps, they will easily hit 2.0-2.1. As far as moding the chip, all you have to do is a little pencil trick that is really REALLY simple.
