Okay guys - i just ordered some parts for any upgrade of the net - im getting a mobo duron 900 (soA) - and some other stuff - and a fan called a Coolermaster (~1.2ghz) (AMD Aproved) has anybody had any experince with these? are they good/bad? I havent got it yet - i hope its good.

PixelView TNT2 M64 32MB PCI
AMD K6-2 500

It is a okay HSF, as long as you are not planning on O/Cing. There are much better options, here is a review w/ the Coolermaster and others;

I would look for better a HSF, IMHO.

So what do you reckon - would i be able to get it up only 100mhz to 1ghz? surely right? no more no less?

I guess it would depend on your other cooling equipment. Do you have case fans? An I deal setup would have at least an 80mm fam sucking in the front of your case and another 80mm fan blowing out the back. Most cases have this space for these fans already there.
