I cannot suspend my computer, well, I can, but then it will not boot back up, because of my Sounblaster Live card, does anybody know of a fix for this? I know I read about one once, but i havent come across it again since then.
Thanks,

Could you clarify what you mean by suspend? Thanks.

Are you sure it's the sound card?

The latest drivers from creative's web page and, if you're using the VIA chipset on your motherboard, the latest 4-in-1 drivers should also help.

Don't think the sound card's causing your suspend issues, however. Can't say what is based on what you've provided.

what i mean by suspend is, the Suspend to Ram function on many new motherboards, which puts the computer into a very low power standby mode. I cannot come back out of the standby mode when I have my soundblaster Live card is installed.

i hope this clarifies things.

well.....can u suspend when you pulled out the sound blaster live?

also, it would be easier for others to solve this problem if we know what the motherboard is

thx
