I used to have my 6800 clocked at 410/900. Then I got Doom 3, and for one reason or another, I clocked the ram down to 891. Since it was working fine at 900, I want to turn it back up, but Coolbits won't let me. It keeps saying I fail to run at the new settings. I want to know if there is a way to force coolbits into letting me manually set my ram clock to 900. I had done extensive stress testing at these speds and I had no artifacts or lockups whatsoever. Also, I would prefer not to have to mod my bios.

From what I understand, tho i don't presently use it, you can use rivatuner to force the clock.

I have RivaTuner installed, but the option for Enable low-level hardware overclocking is greyed out. I'm currently using the 62.20 drivers, and it gives me a warning saying that riva tuner hasn't been tested with these drivers. Do I need to rollback my drivers to get it to work, or am I missing something here?

In riva-tuner use the driver level OC feature not the hardware level one. That will work dreamy.

ok, found the driver level oc, but It still requires me to test the new settings. It fails a lot lower than at coolbits too btw. So I'm still looking for a way to force the speeds I want.
