I was jsut wonderign about the 4 little pad thigns on the CPU, I spilt a load of that radio Shack Stuff all over my CPU when I was using the Volcano II but I didn't know much then, now Ive got the Vantec 6035D, and got some AS2 paste on properly but nyways when i was cleaning it off one of the little pads tore a bit? is this somethign to worry about?

and whats a good way t clean a cpu nywyas?

The pads are for stability only =) They don't transfer heat all that well, buy come neoprene foam and make another pad about the same size and try not to get any AS2 on it next time =)

i saw some review on how to make your own pads.
you need some putty of some sort
and a pice of glass (paper)
what you do is, put a chunk of puddy in each coner and press down agains the glass...
this then made the puddy act as the rubber/foam legs that were on th cpu by defualt (but work better?)

1/16" neoprene from Danger Den (http://www.dangerden.com) works great for replacement feet.
