9800 pro with Abit AC7-G won't go x8 AGP?

Can't figure this out. The DNA drivers, and Catalyst 4.9b drivers, neither will put my 9800 pro into x8. It's set in the bios, I just checked, but everytime I try to get it to go x8, it reboots with the testing, and comes back as turned off.

Any ideas?
