I'll probably be picking it up for my xbox in a month or so. Now that it is on xbox live should make for some good gaming.

ESPN 2k5 is a much better game IMO. I would pick it over any other football video game to date. I have it for Xbox and its the most real looking videogame, besides Metal Gear Sold : Snake Eater. I picked up ESPN 2K5 for $15 dollars....what a steal. I won't be buying Madden because I'm not a big fan of the gameplay in it (5% chance to catch a pass when your wide open, 2.5% chance to break a 1 on 1 tackle, no shoulder charge, no different tackeling animations, no double or tripple team tackles.) ESPN just kills Madden in every aspect..

Is there any big differences between ESPN 2k4 and 2k5?

Yeah i noticed a huge difference from 2k4 and 2k5. There is something about the gameplay though that makes me like madden so much better. Seems more user friendly for some reason, i can't place it.

I wouldn't say it kills Madden. ESPN is a bit more arcadish and has a better presentation. While Madden is the ultra sim of football and some people find that kind of sterile.
I've read reviews saying each was better then the other so I'd say they are pretty even. Maddens Hit Stick sounds really cool and I'd like to try it, but for $30 less it ain't that cool, lol.

i just got done playing a lil madden 2004 just now, and actually i broke out for alot of rushing with Jamal Lewis.
There are spin moves and stiff arms that you can do.
sounds like a error on the user end ;)

I wouldn't say ESPN kills Madden in every way, but it does in Presentation. I think I like Madden's franchise mode better, except for the trades. From what I've heard though, Madden 2k5 will be disappointing because other than the few defensive featues that were added and Tony Bruno, it's the same game. All of the offensive money-plays and glitch plays still work :(
