I going to be getting the kg-7R and ram sometime in the next couple of weeks, and need to know your opinions on this. the brand will be corsiar. they will cost about the same. Win2k. Normally, I would go for flat out raw amounts of memory, but when it comes to this much memory, the efficiency goes down per MB, so it won't make as much of a difference as say 128 to 256. When comparing 266 to 300, how big a difference is will that much less ram be albeit being slower?
Thanx,
Alex

your computer will be alot faster with the pc2400, this is 100% because of the higher FSB you can ( and i hope will) run your system at.
go with the pc2400 I havent seen a big need for lots of excess ram. Anyway, you will have more luck with the pc2400.

if you get crucial pc2100 it is almost a gaureentee a 150FSB, cause it is rated at 133FSB, but it iw WAY underated. Might save a little money
go over with 2400Mhz will help you with higher FSB

I second the 150FSB notion, but don't expect it to go much beyond that. Some people have got lucky and have theirs run at 166-180 MHz. But mine will not even do 155... If you want to go beyond 150 FSB, PC2400 might be a better call.
