On newegg theres some ram that is unbufferd and some that's registered..whats the difference?
 
Ahh thanks..from the little I understood I take it that registerd is better...kk
 
Yeah basically ECC has error checking and correction which is needed in server enviroments so that the memory doesn't fail, but ECC memory usually has higher timings, so theres the pros and cons.
