What's the deal with this? I've just bought some OCZ 4200 EL (Part No. OCZ5331024ELDC-K) and I'm stuck at 278mhz DC 2.5-4-4-7 with 2.8v.
I've currently disabled my Vdimm mobo volt mod and want to know what would happen if I gave it some more juice, say 3.0v. Does the EVP kick in and stop if from posting or does it just do something to the memory voiding my warranty? (Which I don't want to do being as it cost me a fortune)
I'm a bit dissapointed ATM as my crappy corsair bh-5@220mhz 2-2-2-5 is giving me a lot better 3dmark01 score
I might have a go at big toe's P4P800 bios hack to enable full PAT/MAM to see if that helps.
