noob needs memory help quickly

need help choosing my memory so I can get it ordered ASAP. I started to build a rig a couple years ago but found myself w/o the time to learn what I needed to. With school out of the way, I'm ready to start learning and modding but the memory is toast and I need to get it ASAP.

Anyway here's what I've got

Asus P4S333 MB
1.8 Northwood
Hurcules 3D Prophet 2 GTS Pro (Don't laugh, it was decent at the time )
40GB WD Caviar SE
Windows 98 SE
some crappy PNY 256/2100 (RIP)

So my question is, whats the fastest I'll be able to support? I'll buy the best I can get but I'm not interested in paying for overkill.

Gaming is #1 priority.

That mobo supports pc2700(DDR333) up to 1gb per socket. There are quite a few suggestions in this forum for specific part numbers based upon the users test results so I'd suggest taking a look around. Here is whats on Newegg at the moment.

From what I've started reading today I can use a P4S533 bios for it, could I make use of 3200 with it? Sry, still a bit sketcky on the memory thing.
