Windows and memory

How much memory does Windows 98 support, cuz I already bought 512 of DDR ram and the people selling me my motherboard is putting in another 512 of DDR ram. Will Win 98 support 1.4 mab of DDR ram? Or any other Windows?

i believe any windows should be able to cope with that amount of memory,its usually the bios of the motherboard that limits memory capacity.
wether or not windows puts this to good use is another story
