Has anyone had any good luck using rubber stoppers in resevoirs/radiators to help w/bleeding/filling/drainin etc?
 
Rubber stoppers? Are you talking about capping off a T?

no, more like a plug type thing. like rubber drain plugs. I'm lacking for the correct words tonight...

Well, I'd use those, but most reservoirs would just crack if you pushed it too hard (very likely).

Tap it and get a little plastic screw in thing.Works much better.
 
I'd like to use them in a custom resovior and my rads since i'm mounting them horiztonally and they take forever to bleed that way. I'm using lucite and I'm really leary about drilling in something that'll put threads in it. Also, I don't know how or have the tools to create threads.
