Ive been looking at the koolance exos, its $200, but it sure does look nice, whats your opinons? I know the forums is a little anit kit, and I could do it diy sytle, but I think that this is cheapr or equal to and will give me decent preformance, plus it looks nice!

in my opinion, it will not be equal to performance with the diy system with the same price tag. Koolance is a 1/4" tubing system, I believe, compared to 3/8" or 1/2" of most diy system. Only thing about koolance is convenience. You don't have to do much modding.

I agree with nartac. DIY sysyem generally offer much greater performace than kits for many reasons including tubing size, pumps strength and fan size. And you can most certainly build a system for under 200. However, if you must buy a kit I understand that the kolance kit is an excellent choice. There is a review on their latest kit @ hardocp.com. You may also be able to mod the koolance for larger fittings (but you'll void your warranty.)

hers waht ive found now, I think this will prefrom pretty damn nicly

the only hting that makes me nevous here is the pump, it really doesn't push that much water, but on the other hand water cooling cals for low flow so that the water can obsorb the heat, and Im only running it through a cpu cooler, I have passive cooling for both my vide card and my chipset, so thats not a big deal.

all in all

$141 (with some artic silver 5, im out)

any one know anything I don't?

btw, I was really atttached to this, but some reasaerch proved that its a piece of crap.

I wouldn't doubt it, however, I am not up to the extensive modding to convert a chevette heater core into a wc radiator, if there was a leak I would be very sad so to me its worht the extra money. let me ask you this, what is my systems weakest link? the pump?

LOL. There is little or no modding required if you don't care about the look too much. I think the outlet is 5/8" OD. You can easily stretch a 1/2" tubing by soaking the tubing in boiling water for a minute and push it over the 5/8" outlet tube. No problem at all. You get good seal and no leaks guaranteed. The inlet is 1/2" so you are fine there.

I would dare to say the radiator, pump as well as the block. But that is based on what I have read and researched. Not by experience though.

If you prefer, buy a hc from Dangerden or a Pro120 from Dtek.com. They are good but at a slightly higher price.
