Nice job!
Where did you get the rubber gasket for the window?

Where did you get the rubber gasket for the window?
Got it from CaseETC (http://www.caseetc.com/) Navigate to the Windows section up at the top..it's the 12x16 kit.
You can even buy it by the foot.

Good job - that's a nice big window there :)
Thanks I'll check it out. you use re-enforce dremel cutoff discs to make it?

well it's a 12" x 16" window, so yeah pretty big..funny how it doesn't look that big on their web page hehe.
To cut it out I laid the window where I wanted and traced around the edge on the INSIDE of the case panel with a washer to mark the case. Then I drilled a series of holes on each of the 4 sides, this made it easier to get the jig saw in there. I cut just inside the line I made, maybe about 1/4" or so to leave myself some room, then I used the dremel with standard/reinforced cutoff wheels to do the final cutting..and then the gasket was a pain in the arse, you actually have to make the hole quite a bit bigger then the window size, being my first window mod I wasn't sure so I did the measure 9 times, cut once method, that's pretty much why it took me all day. Then the locking strip was a pain in the arse to get in on the back. There are a few scratches on the window near the edges where I nicked it with a screwdriver while trying to get that damned locking strip in there, but hopefully I'll get all the stuff today and have some completed pics up and have it running :p
thanks for the comments, I never could have done it without all your help!
