I currently have the FSB at 145 with 9x multiplier (1.3 GHz) and VCore 1.75. My temps are reading between 40C - 46C and I'm using a Volcano II HSF with 2 80mm case fans + HDD cooler. For some reason, I feel that the temps are not very reliable, but both VIA hardware monitor and Sandra 2001 give similar temp readings. I've read people's negative comments on the thermistor placement on this mobo - I guess thats why...

My question is: What are most of you with similar setup running your FSB at? I've had mine running at 150 with 9x mulitplier stable (1.35 GHz) with VCore at 1.70 but I just didn't feel comfortable due to the temps, even though they were in the acceptable range (sub 50C). Are alot of people running FSB that fast? What multiplier? What VCore?

well the fans arent very big so your case temp might be something to check, and seems though you are running your fsb up a little[even though not alot ] you might wanna think about better cooling, something copper like the glaciator as an example.
those temps are they also showing similar in the bios?
ive found with my kk266 mobo the thermistor is pretty acurate compared to my previous 2 abit kt7a setups

surprisingly, YES, the BIOS is giving similar temps as VIA Hardware Monitor and Sandra 2001. I figure they all read off the same thermistor, so its not the reporting, but the actual temp itself due to the thermistor placement. I've herad that it may be higher than whats reported, like 5-10C higher!?!? If thats true, then I'm well above 50C and that scares me. I just want to know what other people are getting for temps and FSB/mulitplier speeds for the same mobo so I can get a more solid idea of where my system is at. What HSF/case fans, etc you using with IWill board?
