The AD1980 6-Channel audio CODEC is on the Asus K8v SE Deluxe MB and the Sound Blaster Live 5.1 is OEM. I have Logitech z-640 5.1 speaker. Which one?

Onboard. The 'Live will make no difference at all.

My Realtek ac97 5.1 audio is faster than my sblive

in 4 speaker mode, with the 3dmark03 24 sounds test;

sblive: 26.4fps
Realtek: 28fps

Not much in it, but it's there. Plus creative's drivers are crap. Been quite impressed with the realtek ac97 software.
