View Full Version : SisoftSandra2001 or VIA HardwareMonitor?
1.4GHz TB, AbitKT7A-R, NoiseControlSilverado
VIA HardwareMonitor reports 51 degrees Celsius and
SisoftSandra2001 reports 38 degrees.
I'm confused.
Is the VIA HM really that inaccurate?
Which one can I trust?

I would make a trip to Radio Shack and get an accurate temp probe and check for yourself which is more accurate. I had to do this to see which one of my programs was dead-on.

The above post is rite
On my set up Sisandra shows almost perfect and if my thermistor was touching CPU then VIA HM shows almost perfect. Remember Sisandra and VIA HM work differently for different MB's and CPU's some people cant stand Sisandra but others it works fine i have not heard to many bad threads about VIA HM.
