far cry install problem

ok i get all the way to teh very end of the install and it pops up with a message saying it has been interupted and the setup did not complete....anyway to fix this???

wow, that sux. One of your Farcry CDs might just be a bad burn. There's less QC on PC games cuz the disks don't have to be manufactored by Nintendo, M$, Sony. A couple PC games I've bought recently have had 1 CD that has a bad sector on it. That's always fun. If it ends up being a bad burn you can take it back to the store you bought it at and they'll refund ur money or replace the game.

In the mean time guess you could try some of the generic tech support suggestions: defrag hd, get latest drivers, install with no applications running in background . . . .etc.

Make sure none of your CD's are scratched or have fingerprints on them. I had a problem similar to this, and found out that I had put a big fingerprint on the edge of the CD.
