Manufacturers 1GB = 1,000,000,000 bytes
Windows 1GB = 1,073,741,824 bytes
Just like a 40GB hard drive is 38GB in windows, and a 250GB is 232GB in windows.
I know this is true for hard drives, and might be true for memory also, so If I'm wrong someone correct me...
