actually the best and hardest to find stepping is the AHYJAR-Y

I have heard of some being better but don't follow how why or how to tell.

just signify a revision to the same chip, similar to a software version (ie. Win98, Win98 SE).

Some steppings are better than others, but IMHO the only way to really tell if 1 is better than another is to get an average of what people have actually done with them (like the OC database on the main page).
