Ive got a PentAlpha sink and fan on my PIII 700. Is this any good???
Is this better than Golden orb, for example???

Well I really have never heard of one of those, but tell us your temps and then well tell u how good the HSF is.

My current temps are 40.5C for CPU and 32 for board! Im running seti in background.

those temps aren't bad for an intel under load. I wouldn't worry too much about cooling.

yeh, but a 486 hsf is better then a golden orb

My old 486SX never had a HSF...

My DX2 had one. Little sucker! Stands about half inch high, goes over the whole chip, and has many 1/8 inch by 1/8 inch (I think... havent seen the CPU in a while) pins covering the whole thing.

An orb performing worse than this?!?! WOW. If you aren't kidding, instead of not wanting one at all, I REALLY don't want one!
