doesnt look all that bad, but im really board and i want to stealth my drives (i doubt id be able to do the floppy haha)

anyways ill have to cut the tabs on my bay covers right?

i dont have a dremel so what would i cut it with? tin snips? or some big wood tree cutter things?

anyways as you can tell in the pic i have 9 rectangle sections on the back side of the face plate. so what should i do to connect it to my drives? would i put a thin piece of wood (a lil bit smaller than the bay itself) that can fit inside the plate that way my drive tray can touch the plate? Can i use double stick tape? how would i make it so if i press the corner of the plate itll open the drive tray?

You can use pretty much anything to cut the tabs off providing it leaves a nice clean cut. If not just sand it down until smooth and flush.

Take a look Here (http://www.twistedmods.com/article.php?name=Sections&op=viewarticle&artid=119)

ya i was able to cut the tabs with tin snips to get the bend then i just took some pliers and then i filed it down. But it all went wrong. I couldnt move my drive back so i had to file down the sides. Then i tried to put my cover onto the drive but the double stick tape wouldnt hold it (well it did but it didnt seem very strong) if the drive where to get pulled in, the cover would probly fall off. And im not able to push the bottom right corner of the plate (so it pushes the eject button) because the sides that keep the drive/bay from moving any farther (reason i had to file the sides of the drive) hold the plate in so i cant move it

DAM!

did you cut out the inards of the blue plates it should just be the front of it, like a pice of paper, and then you do it on that

That is How Yoshi does it on TSS

wait, i cut off the tabs that i circled in red, so i have to take off all those tabs (the dividers) so its just flat? (what about the edges sorrounding the whole thing?)

i ll do that tomorow, but then after that what do i do?

You will have to remove the plate of the cd-rom drives. Then you have to cut the tabs, and expand the outside of the mold. It wont fit otherwise. The bay is as big as the cdcase, so it has to somehow go over the cd drive. That is how i did it.
