Link says it all. I've bought 4 from here at the normal $14.95. $8.95 can't be beat but I don't know how long the sale lasts.

Lord, that is still expensive. Get it here (http://store.yahoo.com/inflowdirect/pan12x38casf.html) for only $6.00. Shipping by priority mail pretty reasonable too.

Or else head to classified section and get the Sanyo Denki's for $5.00

Just because Sidewinder has taken good care of me, I thought I'd give them a plug. I know nothing about inflow, but thanks for the link, great price.

Is this as good as any other 120mm Panaflo ? They have a pin connector... is it the right one ?

Thanks

Yes, comes with your choice of either 3-pin or 4-pin connector. These are medium speed, 88.5 cfm at 35.5 cfm. They make louder fans that move more cfm. This particular one is considered a good balance of noise/performance.

do you mean 88.5cfm @ 35.5dba?

One thing to note guys, the ones made in JAPAN are better (IMO) than the ones made in China... Inflo is china, not sure about sidewinder.

Special note Our current stock of this fan no longer supports RPM Monitoring.Inflow had the same note... I guess that indicates they were made in china...

Mine are the China made fans- the H1a model.

The originals may well be better but these are still quite good. ;)

I haven't yet ordered any of the Sanyo-Denkis and I DO plan on it but I gotta say that these Panaflos haven't let me down. :)
The H series IS loud at full throttle but they move an impressive amount of air.
M1as should be somehwta quieter. ;)

I compared the 80mm Panaflo's Hi power to the 80mm SlentX. I was wondering about how they compared for some time.

First, they are both really quiet and both truly premium fans. However, the Panaflo creates about 15% more pressure. The slight additional sound the Panaflo produces is only (barely) noticeable from a distance of less than .5 meter. Panaflo gets the nod only because they can be had for about 35% less cost.

I am using the the ultra quiet SilenX on my audio tube preamp and phono stage. In that environment, silence is golden. The Panaflo's have gone into the front of my Wavemaster case.
