Lets say I got a second PSU for my fans and its an ATX type how do I turn it on w/o the power switch of the comp?

ok, get a power switch from an old case and hook up the wires to it, or alternatively you can solder the wires from the second powersupply to the switch in your case.

There should be 4 wires with little metal slot thingies on them, at least thats what mine looks like, match the colors and positions on the PSU that is already hooked up.

I have my second PSU rigged so it turns on as soon as i hit the rocker switch on my power strip. What i did is use one of those wire tap-ins from radio shack and tap the green wire directly to a black ground on 2nd PSU ATX wires. That way my fans and peltier will come on 1st when pressing the power button on the computer to turn on the primary PSU and last when shutting down the system.
