I just ripped an awesome score in 3dmark2001

I'm building these computers for some friends in colledge.
Here are the stats with the one that is done now.
1.33 ayjha
256mb of kingmax pc150
inno3d Nvidia geforce2 pro gts 64mb (no heat sink on ram?)
Volcano 5
Epox 8KTA3
WD 40gig
12x dvd
12x10x32 cdr
Not overclocked (they do not need anymore speed)

I got a 3060 with the default benchmark No tweaking.
With my P3 700@933 and voodoo4 I could only get 1600 on a good day.

Cannot wait to finish the other one it uses ddr ram and a 8K7A.

Well dont worry, I beleive there was a huge thread on this about 2 moths ago, on if Heatsinks on the memory do anything. And the end conclusion was no, they do make it look cool tho!

That's a decent score but i think u can get up to 4000
cause i've got 3106 with my ASUS V7100 Pro (32MB) 240x240
and my CPU 1200@1410
well i'm pretty satisfied wif it cause if i don't tweak my Graphix Card my scores are just like 2600

i have got 2118 on my geforece 2 mx set at 210x200 unfortunatlky my 633MHz celeron does not want to oc

i got over 4000 on my Radeon 32MB DDR with my 900 O/Cd to 1000....not bad for a Radeon

They help a little. I got 3 extra MHz out of my MX, when I added some RAM sinks. Not much, but the MX looks much cooler now! :D

The default testing (1024x768x32) is the best way to find it out since it gives everyone the same standards to compare...I'd like to share that I've hit just over 6,200 :p

Just finnished building and benching the ohter system it got 3105 no tweaking. And these are run at the default settings. No tweaks what so ever.

The only differences between the systems is ddr ram and motherboards same vid cards in both.
