The biggest things to remember that I know of are these: All the ram will perform at the speed of the slowest stick Some ram sticks have been found to not play well together, possibly only in some systems. I have not really followed any of the issues close enough to know more- as I said, I've never had a problem. The machine I am on now has three 256mb sticks- I think they are two matching 3200s and a 2700...but its been so long I am not certain of the speeds. But I know there is a mis-match.
