way to tell what card you have by serial number

well this guy i bought my claimed to be "9800xt" card from pulled it out of a dell comp..so i bought it for around 170 and it came..but when i opened the package it looked very close to the 9800 pro..the core is r350 (i thought xt's core is r360)..im pretty sure that its the original 9800 pro..but i cant check it due to me water cooling it and im missing 1 part before i can actually start up again...plus it didnt come with the stock cooler so im stuck there....so is there a way to check by serial what card i actually have?

I'm fairly sure ALL 9800 xt's have a 360 core.

Judging by that picture you got a Radeon 9800Pro. And yes, all XT's have an r360 core. Go punch that guy in the face :p
