again I heard the 27th would be more drops but this is getting silly. when will tbirds be free.

Hopefully soon. I'd like a new processor to replace my poor chipped Thunderbird, and my cash flow is significantly restricted.

I hope so, I have my mind set on the infamous 1.4 AYHJAR "Y".
Wish I had the cash now, but if the prices are dropping again,

the 1.4 is less than 107. It's already pretty darn cheap.

after shelling out a LOT for my 900 earlier this year <Jan>, i will wait about another month or two b4 i buy another chip...hopefully then it will show if the MPs are worth it yet or not, i might just go with one of those...but a 1.4 at below 100 would be nice too

I wish they'd announced this price cut - I shelled out £140 for a 1.4gig AYHJA, only to find that the next morning they'd dropped to £110. If I'd known there was a price cut due I'd have waited. Still, we're all used to that by now I guess - you can't keep waiting forever :)
