PC 2700 and Games like DOOM 3

Hi all,

I have some crappy pc 2700 DDR running on my machine. How will better quality PC 3200 affect the performance of games like DOOM 3. Also, any suggestions on what brand of memory is good??

Um ya it should make a world of difference. I know where your coming from i also have some crapppy 2700 but i just ordered this ocz ddr400 and it should rock, it should arrive tomorrow. heres the link

It takes a lot more then memory to make that game perform well. The best upgrade would be a patch from ID.

well... you have this " 784 PC 2700 DDR unlocked @ 400MHZ " in your sig... not sure what unlocked ram is ... but if your ocing the 2700 to 3200 speeds already.. then if you do get 3200 it better be good enough to oc more than 200mhz.. since your already there..

doom3 runs just fine on my comp. what do they need a patch for again?
