New install Best way to keep settings

Hi
Need some advice on how best to reinstall winXP(home) as a fresh install but then to be able to import settings (ie ISP setups/outlook settings).
I have two HDD's (1 maxtor 80gb 1 WD caviar 80gb) so I can save the data to the storage disk (WD) can I just copy the folders back over to the C drive or will it mean reinstalling the software .

The "Files and Settings Transfer Wizard"...Start | Run | Type migwiz, and click OK.
