Resolved:Cannot boot after install, blue screen

Hi, I just finished installing windows and after the first restart I get to the windows loading screen and as soon as it appears it disappears then theres a blue screen I dont even have time to read that appears and it restarts. Please help me out with this. here's my rig :

dfi infinity with 1/31 bios
mushkin enhanced level one @ [email protected]
Xp-m 2600+ iqyha
wd 160gig ata drive
slk-947u

Please help me out with this.

Edit: i have tried optimised defaults in the bios, and safe mode. It gets me the same thing.

If you haven't already, I'd first suggest testing your RAM using v 1.2 of Memtest86+...available from the following site:

http://www.memtest.org/

Also, which OS are you trying to install?...and at what clock speed? If you're trying to install Windows at the 200FSB listed in your sig., then I would also suggest setting the clock to default...at least until after the OS is loaded. If you're trying to install Windows at 200FSB with CPC (Command Per Clock) enabled, and you're running double-sided RAM...that could also be the cause of the BSOD and reboot, especially if running in dual channel.

If I remember right, isn't the 1/31 BIOS a beta? Have you tried the latest official 6/19 BIOS for the Infinity?
