I'm sure you all will agree that Morpheus has made the OC site what it is today. Lets give him a big thank you for all the work he has done. We will miss him just as much as Daniel. Best of luck with your new endeavors Kris! We won't forget the efforts you undertook.

It started all with discussions in our newly acquired 'seti forum', when someone started a post called:

SETI, a moral question

some of you still remember it? It cought attention also by non-seti users, including our moderator (only Daniel by then).

That's when the idea started to make our own stats site. Kris, you were the one who were directly with your hands on the project and have eversince been that one.

Together with many of our members the site developed, graphic artists joined in (thanx Allan!), staticians.

Ever since the page developed, the team has started growing faster and faster, now being one of the fastest on the world!

Without Kris, this wouldn't have been posible in any way. This is what I mean when I talk about your team effords! Take a look at our page, it's well developed and has all we need.
... except for a leader now :(

I fully understand why you want to put the forum leader task aside for a while and I agree with your decision! No doubt any of our members will enjoy one of your posts with your personal imput in this forums, I hope to see you around in the forums, especially the seti forum.

p.s. the news came to me this morning together with the news of Dan leaving because of arguments with our other forum leaders about posting about moral/etnic topics. Surely one of the most bad days in forum history for me.

I suggest that we start an open thread in our forum together with all our members about how to go on and keep the site up. We will need much imput from all off you, because that's what the site is for: it's for YOU!

I just got wind by e-mail that Kris was leaving. I totally understand why. And I hope you enjoy your endeavors that bring you most pleasure. It has been a most rewarding experience to know you and your contribution to the Team. Thanks go from me to you Personally.

Yep that is what it appears. I got the e-mail just a few hours ago.
I can not post what was sent to me. Unless he says its cool. In short it deals with IRL matters and the demands that are forthcoming in that direction. And his decision has nothing to do with Daniel leaving. Other then that. He will have to share his thoughts.

Sorry to see you leaving morpheus.. hope everything is alright and hope to have you back again soon as possible ;) hopefully whatever is wrong will be fixed promptly so we can have back our BEST member who encourages people, helps them and undoubtedly spends countless hours preparing our stats, our loss of you will be greatly felt by this team..

This is definately a sad week of events. First, our Forum Manager and Team Founder, Daniel Edgar leaves and now our Project Leader, Kris Kurrus has left.
Both Daniel and Kris have been invaluable leaders of what only can be called the Greatest Team in Seti. Being the 'Greatest' doesn't only consist of crunching the most WU's - but also having fun, close personal relationships with other team members and pride of belonging.
Kris and Daniel have been the corner stones of this team - and it is a sad time to have both corner stones leave. I would hope that, some how, the two could be persuaded to stay with the team.

As the invaluable effort you put into this team will be sorely missed it is reassuring to hear you are still going to stick around as a member. Would hate to hear that you were leaving for good as well.

Real life matters definately come first and foremost and there really is nothing to discuss when it comes to that.

I've been busy lately and haven't had the time to sit and think of something witty to say.

I still can't. But suffice it to say that you helped turn an idle curiosity almost into an obsession.
