View Full Version : ELSA Gladiac 511 4ns 32mb SDR
I just got the Elsa Gladiac 511 (MX400). Anyone here is having it ?. Is it a much better buy than the Asus 7100 ?. I was suprised it came with a 4ns SDRAM. Can anyone tell me whats their 3DMark2001 scores and maximum overclock out of this baby ?

If ur want to o/c then u'll have to buy the ASUS V7100Pro
cause i'm now running it @240x240 [i fink u can probably get even more outta that card if ur using anotha tweak program cause the one i used was came wif the card and the highest is 240x240 so i can't get anymore)
with my cpu (1.2@1410) i got 3106 marks in 3D Mark2001
which i fink is vr good
but if u buy the Elsa i hear that it's no good for o/c
BUY ASUS V7100Pro
good to o/c!!!!!!

either leadtek or asus geforce2mx....others either suck or arent that good...i doubt 4ns memory will be used on any display card...ddr doesnt count btw
My ELSA Gladiac 511 performs superbly. It is using EtronTech 4ns memory and I was able to overclock it at 266/273 after modding the heatsink with a Volcano II and Arctic Silver. I think its really worth the money.

Elsa makes superb Vidcards. For the money, it's hard to beat the Gladiac 511.
Well, I've just got myself the IWILL KK266+ motherboard so I was busy setting up everything and not until Im finished with it, I cant really do any benchmarking. Here is my score with 3DMark2001 (default benchmark). I guess its still a bit too low aint it ?

That's good!!
I only got 3106 in 3DMark2001 with my V7100Pro (core240, ram240) but i could still go higher
1.2@1410
After some tweaking here and there, this is the best I could get :

i got 2316 in 3dmark2001 with a geforce 2 mx and a 633MHz celeron i think that is quite good
Actually the 64mb with TV-Out is only a few tens more but I decided to go for this 32mb as it comes with the 4ns memory which I know I could overclock the hell out of it. As for the 64mb, its running on a 5.5 ns memory (Samsung). Im looking at the Quadro mod .. anyone has an idea how to do it for this card ?
