Not really. Think about it. They're spraying thousands upon thousands of gallons of it onto a fire, is it going to cost THAT much? Nope. Well, maybe it might cost a bunch for a tank of the stuff to be used in the fire systems, but for a gallon max for a w/c system? Come on...
Even the Today show had it on there quite a while ago. Basically it's being marketed towards museums and R&D departments where extremely valuble items could potentially be damaged by water, but they can't use halon for. You just can't use halon in a public museum.
