My Sapphire Radeon 9000 PRO still performs well.

What are your Overclocking speeds?

My stock:

275 core
249 memory

OC'ed
326 core
258 memory

The memory is said to be designed to run at 300mhz. But nudging it slightly results in artifects.

Nice to hear from any Radeon 9000 or Pro users. :D

I have one as my old card. I cant remember exaclty, but I had the core around 300, and the memory around 270. Do you have the hynix memory as well?

How about Radeon 7500? It's a great card for the games I play, RPG's. ATI cards going way back have great 2D desktop images.
I had a nvidia card for a whole 2 days once and it went right back to the store.

I almost feel guilty about finally getting a 9600 from MLMIB a couple of days ago, but for 50 bucks I couldn't pass it up.

TxAMD.

I read reviews that it had samsung memory.

When it arrived it had hynix memory.

Tv-out never worked. So I got replacement from with RDATA memory.

They like to jump around abit @ sapphire

..50 bucks. That is cheap.

My 9000 non pro got to 300 core and about 240 on the ram.

Not a bad card, if it would ahve only OCed a bit more ;-(

My Tyan Tachyon G9000 Pro clock frequencies are:

GPU: 315 mhz

VRAM: 299 mhz

I can't get the RAM beyond 300 mhz without general video corruption or artifacts :(.

I couldn't get the GPU beyond 315 mhz without video corruption in 3D Mark 2001 SE :(.

I wonder if taking off the TIM pad that's on the GPU then applying at least silicone heatsink compound will help.

I dont think heat is the problem with these cards. You need to bump up the voltage to get a bit more out of it. But yeah, get some compound on there at least

Yeah for thaose that dont know the 9000's have a low volatage on them. They are built with a smaller process also so they put out less heat

my 9000 pro's mem didnt budge from 250, but it's gpu would go up to 335 just fine.
