Audigy 2 ZS and 5.1

Have the Klipsch audio 5.1 system hooked into the new Audigy 2 card I just installed. I installed the driver and programs with my speakers set at 5.1. The system works great, except for that everytime I reboot, the speaker setup reverts back to "2.1" in Audigy speaker setup. The windows control panel "sound and audio devices" reverts back at every reboot as well. I've tried the "synchronize with control panel" option, and it still goes back.

Anyone else have this problem or know how to fix it?

Hi and Welcome to the Forums!
What mobo do you have?
Does your setup have onboard sound? If so you may need to disable it in BIOS. I had to prior to loading sound drivers. I did not have any problems like you are having tho.
