alright i have this barebones laptop which has 2 60gb drives running in RAID 1-0. I deleted the array, used Darik's boot and nuke to clear the drives, and tried reinstalling windows.

when i boot from the windows CD, i get to the part where i'm supposed to choose a drive to install to,

every single drive is unknown, and if i press C to create, or D to delete, or Enter, it blue screens on me

i thought it might be driver issues, so i got the FastTrak100 drivers from the promise website, but i have no way to upload them to the laptop (no floppy?)

any ideas guys? this is very urgent :bang head

your not running raid anymore are you?

Could a usb key work? i don't know if windows installation can read it. And if you do get some way to read the driver, during pre-installation you'll see the push F# to install 3rd party or scsi drivers which you'll probably need to do.

this is why i don't like laptops, (lack of floppy drive)
