i don't think there is an order, test the first one, then the second, then test the one you tested first again, I heard you can get a couple more MHz. Also ati tool detects errors in single pixels, some stuff we would never while playing a game. I recommend running it for 30 minutes or an hour to get max clocks. then test it out see if it holds when things heat up. have fun!
ok thanks i will try that latter :)
and let you know.
Are you sure you have 9600Pro? That sounds like a 9600np because the stock speed on the RAM is 300, not 210.

Is your card brand new? I bought a sapphire 9600 XT with 256Ram and it was supposed to have 300MHZ memory. Well when I got it and installed it it had 250MHZ. I called allstarshop.com where I ordered it and they were happy to send me my money back and were pretty pissed at sapphire for sending them a card with the wrong specs. I just thought I would share, I have a 9800 Pro now so I am very happy :D :D .
ok may be this might help it is a PowerColor Radeon 9600 Pro Video Card
that i have with 256 mb on board may be it is all in the name but this is what i have
any more info on this would be great I would like to see how fast it would go
i am water cooling it as well so may be that would me out too.
Thanks for any help on this.

When I use the ati tool,it always finds artifacts or pixel errors. But when I game , I see no problems. It keeps clocking down from the default. Anybody else gets this?
is that because the colck speed is locked or does that mean i can't overclock my video card and how do you get the high settings on your video card Dkdgbroyles and are they stable?
and when i overclock i am spose to set my bios to 128 right? for video card settings?
never had mine card do that yet clocking down
thanks for any help you can give me on this !

Hi Tim, I can't OC with ati tool either. It must be a bug for 9600 cards. But,I use radlinker. I suggest download the omega drivers(has radlinker in it). Uninstall ur ati drivers, reboot, then install the omegas. After that u will see radlinker in the cat control panel
