Sound Card Issues

Hey, I recieved this Sound Blaster Live Dobly Digital 5.1 about 5 months ago and it is all I really need. The only problem is, I cant update the drivers. I downloaded the correct ones and it displays "Doesn't detect a Sound Blaster Audio Card on your system". I tried reformating, reinstalling drivers, downloading different drivers, and reinstalling the sound card itself. Any ideas?

You may have to install the drivers from the disk first,then install the new ones over them.I had the same problem with an Audigy LS.The updated drivers were not a total installation package.
